DISSECTING THE TRINITY KILLER
| Motivations: His sister died while taking a bath because she was surprised by him watching her and fell breaking the glass doors, cutting her leg and finally bleeding out before the medics arrived, then his mother jumped to her death, then the father suffered a fatal wound to the head
| Methods: Trinity even though it was thought that he killed in threes (therefore the Trinity killer) Trinity has been killing in fours all over the United States, his cycle begins with the abduction of a 10 year old who he then burries in cement (which is why they are never found), then a woman in a bathtub (whom he kills to represent his sister's death), then a mother falling to her death (which represents his mother's suicide) and then a man bludgeoned with a hammer.

| INTERACTION WITH DEXTER | | Dexter believes that Trinity was responsible for shooting Debra and killing Frank Lundy. He steals Lundy's research on Trinity and travels to an office building where he believes Trinity's bludgeoning victim will be. He arrives at the office building in time to see Trinity use a framing hammer to kill a father of two. He is unsuccessful in catching Trinity before he leaves the office building, but is able to follow him home. Much to his surprise, Dexter discovers that Trinity is not unlike himself. | Season 4, Episode 5, "Dirty Harry." | | Dexter finds himself newly obsessed with killing Trinity that he begins to tail him. He discovers that he is a high-school teacher, deacon, and has a [seemingly] happy, loving family. He goes to a church service where Trinity is leading the singing.
