Hi!
Here in Italy this beautiful series has just started but we already love it! Could anyone help me to discover something about Dexter's sunglasses? Rayban, Oakley or what? What's the model's name? Thanks a lot. |

Watch
I've only watched seaon 1 and 2, but I have watched them back to back and recently - just in the past week and half or so.
What stands out to me about Dexter, and maybe this is his lost sense of self, but he seems easily swayed by other people. I understand part of that is him trying to act normal - Rita convinces him to go into NA, and he resists, but then gives in. Lilah sways him away from Rita and talks him into doing things, and not doing things, that went against his own grain. He didn't stop to consider what *he* really wanted to do. He's easily manipulated by her. But then Doakes tries to manipulate him into releasing him, which he resists, then considers, then resists again, all because Deb had a steak with him and said "that's worth living for" - changing Dexter's decision to turn himself in. Such a flip flopper! I wish he'd just stay the course and do what feels right to him, and stop letting other people pull him a million different directions. I know he's at a crossroads, feeling lost, because Harry's code "was all wrong" but then he ends up defending the code and living by it - after rejecting it and reconsidering it many times, after learning about Harry's indiscretions with his birth mother. I know he feels misled by Harry's lying and betrayal, further confusing what little he had to live by - so that could excuse why he lets other people's morals and ideas affect his behaviors, actions, decisions - but I think Dex needs to figure it out for himself. I hate to se him convinced to be or do something he really doesn't want.
